Partner with Startup Berlin Group

We’re a welcoming Slack community for Berlin’s startup and tech ecosystem—founders, builders, operators, investors, and newcomers. Your support keeps this community infrastructure free: thoughtful moderation, events, the monthly bulletin, and the jobs + events curation that thousands rely on.

Community-first: no spam, no pay-to-play. Partner visibility is limited, useful, and Code of Conduct aligned.

Partnership at a glance

Support the community infrastructure people actually use—and show up in a way that respects members.

  • Safe brand association
Clear guidelines and moderation keep the space welcoming.
  • Hiring & reach (without noise)
Value-first touchpoints that don’t turn Slack into an ad feed.
  • Ecosystem presence
Help power events, bulletin, and curation the community relies on.

Operating for 10+ years with a simple promise: be helpful, be respectful, be Berlin.

Monthly bulletin

A member-generated newsletter with the freshest updates from Berlin’s startup scene.

Why companies support us

Berlin’s startup ecosystem runs on intros, shared context, and people helping people. SBSG is one of those quiet pieces of infrastructure: always on, always welcoming, and useful every day.

  • Give back (and be remembered for it)
Support a free community that helps founders and builders without gatekeeping.
  • Earned visibility with clear guardrails
Limited, value-first touchpoints that respect members and reduce noise.
  • Help teams hire and connect in Berlin
Support the channels and curation people already use for jobs, events, and recommendations.

Supported by Berlin’s ecosystem

Startup Berlin Group is community-driven and has received support from Berlin Senate and Berlin Partner.

We’re happy to share a lightweight “what we do / what we don’t do” partnership one-pager on request.

  • Guidelines-first collaboration

Clear guardrails (this is why it works)

We don’t sell access to members or turn channels into ad feeds. Partners show up by supporting the community, sharing genuinely useful resources, and collaborating in ways that reduce noise.

Let’s make it easy

If you’re Berlin-based (or hiring/serving Berlin startups) and want to support community infrastructure, we’d love to chat. Tell us what you’re hoping to achieve and we’ll propose a partnership shape that fits—without turning the community into a billboard.

Or send us a message

Alternatively, email us at hi@startupberlin.co

It’s community support with limited, value-first visibility. The goal is to keep SBSG free and welcoming while giving partners a small number of respectful touchpoints.

We don’t sell posting privileges or “access”. If there’s something truly useful for members (e.g., a community event, a helpful resource), we’ll shape it together so it adds value and stays aligned with our Code of Conduct.

We keep it lightweight: a quarterly summary of what ran (links/mentions), plus qualitative feedback (hires, event attendance, replies). If you have a goal, we’ll align on what “success” means upfront.
